XText uses a no-login mechanism.

We do not require you to register an account, and we do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any other personally identifiable information (PII).

1.2 Subscription and In-App Purchase Information

When you purchase subscriptions through Apple App Store or Google Play, all payment processing is handled by the platform.

We do not have access to your payment information.

To provide subscription services and feature access, we may process the following non-personal information:

• Subscription status (whether the subscription is active)
• Product identifier of the subscription
• Transaction or order identifier (for subscription verification)

This information is not linked to any personal identity.

1.3 Official Key Decryption Statistics

When you use the official key to decrypt text, the app may record the decryption event for functional statistics and service management. In this process:

• Only the MD5 hash of the ciphertext is uploaded to identify repeated decryptions
• The ciphertext itself, plaintext, or encryption keys are never uploaded
• The MD5 hash cannot be used to recover any original content
